Our Programmes
School Programmes
We offer a range of School Programmes for all ages and abilities! The main learning outcomes include water safety and other essential life skills. Learn more by click through and browsing our standard programme options.

After School Club
We collect from a range of local schools and bring them back to Waimarino Adventure Park. Children then enjoy a delicious and nutritious afternoon tea before enjoying an action packed afternoon!
Children may participate and receive instruction in a range of activities including swimming, kayaking, rock climbing, paddle boarding and more!
Holiday Programme
Our Holiday Programme operates all year round and in the Summer months involves a lot of water based activities, ensuring our children learn essential life skills around the water! We still offer a range of dry activities and offsite adventures.
In the Winter months we have a range of on site activities and off site adventures including rock climbing, beach adventures, movies, bushwalks and arts and crafts.
Our supporters
In 2023 The Four Winds Foundation assisted us by providing us with a Defibrillator. This is not only a fantastic asset to the Education Trust but also for the wider community!
Steadfast has assisted Waimarino Education Trust in 2023 with funds for purchasing Paddleboards for our Paddleboard programmes!
In 2022 NZCT helped us purchase a new 12 seater van to assit us with transporting After School Care and Holiday Programme children!
In 2024 NZCT has supported Waimarino Education Trust by assisting us with funds to purchase new water resistant radios! All of our staff wear these radios in slings around their torso when they are on shift.
These radios are vital to our operation and ensures that we can communicate with one another in an outdoor environment and ensures we can easily manage children, facilitate programmes and handle safety and emergency response with ease.

The Lion Foundation has contributed to the purchase of hundreds of Wetsuits in a range of sizes to accomodate all primary and secondary students. These Wetsuits are included in some programmes to help with buoyancy, warmth and sun safety! General public can hire these for just $10 for the day! Providing a source of income for the Education Trust.
Following on from this in 2023 The Lion Foundation also helped us by supporting us in the purchase of Rashtops for all our Holiday Programme and After School Children! This helps keep everyone safe on those long Summer days! And helps us identify the Waimarino Education Trust children both during onsite and offsite activities!
In 2024 Pub Charity helped us by funding the purchase of our Uniform! This is vital to the awareness of Waimarino Education Trust and helps ensure that we are visible so all children in our care!

In 2022 and 2023 Grassroots Trust has supported Waimarino Education Trust by assisting us with funds to help pay our some of our staff wages! Amazing! Thanks Grassroots!
