Te Tahi Kayak
An introduction to basic kayaking skills with a strong focus on building water confidence while giving everything a go!
Rescue training, skill based games and team work followed by adventure park activities, this programme is designed to test the most energetic youngster!
3D Team Challenge
This programme is the ultimate test of a group’s strategic decision making abilities, group awareness, communication skills and time management skills. The objective is to select and complete the particular challenges most suited to your team’s strengths. Every team member will be required to contribute their individual talents towards their team’s final score in this head to head team competition.
Te Tahiroa Kayak
Enjoy our Te Tahi Programme then extend your groups session with more fun in the park with, extra time on the adventure park activities along with a fully supervised rockwall climbing session.
The SUP Board Adventure
A great introduction to the lower reaches of the Wairoa River! Have your class step onto the water with our range of SUPs for a fun filled trip down the river. The programme will be filled with paddle board lessons, games and of course water safety skills. The programme is followed by time in the Adventure Park.
The River Hop
A true New Zealand adventure!! Walk, scramble & swim in one of NZ’s favorite river rafting rivers without (most of) the water. The water from the river is diverted through a canal from hydrodammed Lake McLaren, leaving the riverbed mostly dry, but with some deep long pools. Communication and teamwork is a crucial requirement for this activity. Our experienced guides will lead you on a safe, educational adventure through the Wairoa River.
The Maximus
The most physically & mentally demanding programme we offer, combining our two most popular programmes into one! With an introduction to kayaking with the Te Tahi Kayak programme along with the addition of our 3D Programme. The last part of the programme is free time on our adventure activities to exhaust any remaining energy.
