Waimarino Education Trust employs industry trained and qualified instructors to safely lead & facilitate all of our exciting programmes. They have a wide range of experience including kayaking, climbing, and adventure based activity instruction, and with this knowledge can engage, educate and challenge your group to the edge of their comfort zone.
Safety comes first at Waimarino, and its this week we have been training up some new staff members in the art of rolling a kayak! Rolling a kayak is an essential skill for all senior leaders to have it, ensuring that all of the children and students are in safe and qualifed hands whenever they are out on the water. Alongside rolling a kayak, all of our staff are trained and signed off on each of the Adventure Park activities. On-site we also offer full Water Safety Training courses for all current and new staff at the start of each Season.
We are looking forward to the Spring School Holidays and can’t wait for the children to meet some of our new leaders!
